Genionics is a privately owned company dedicated to ion channel research and offers a range of products to provide assistance in drug discovery, diagnostics and clinical management. The company uses its proprietary ChanClone™ technology to provide next generation ion channel cell lines ready-to-use in drug screening projects.

This technology opportunity enables the design of ion channel cell lines in ultra-fast mode. We are in the process of building up a comprehensive ion channel cell collection including polymorphic and mutated ion channel variants.

Bridging the gap between genetic diversity and in vitro screening of ion channels is our vision. We promote ion channel allele screening in order to accelerate the advancement of personalized medicine in the areas of ion channel diseases. Genionics is located at the Biotech Center of Zurich in Switzerland.

Ion Channel collection
Behind all our ion channel cell products stands extensive  know-how. We put in extra efforts to provide you with high-end ion channel reagents. A broad collection of ion channels is available here to let you profit from our experience.
Channelopathy database
The archive of ion channel mutations includes detailed glossary, genotypic data and biophysical profile.  Registered members will receive a secure account for the channelopathy database.

Channelopathy diagnostics
We can help to establish a fast and definitive channelopathy diagnosis. Polymorphic gene alleles can be analyzed on a functional level to characterize specific ion channel defects.
